THE FIRST STORE

The very first store who purchased our bags was Envoy Of Belfast in Ireland.  Although I have never visited the store yet, I have known that it is an ideal store any designer would die for.   And, I feel so fortunate to have met the buyer, Ruth, from this wonderful store (thanks to my dear friend, Julia!) and seeing our bags treated with such special care and attention.

Our brand is still small, but we have developed relationships with wonderful people from stores and vendors which I am extremely happy with.   After all, our ultimate goal is to gain quality over quantity in every aspect of our brand including a relationship with people.

SPRING IN NY

INSPIRATION OF THE WEEK

I was inspired by two well known American artists this week: Edward Hopper and Richard Scarry.  Although they have drawn different kind of works, each had a same kind of strong impact when I saw their works.  The colors, objects, proportion, the way of expression, total balance and so on…  It is hard to explain what it is specifically, but they just totally got me.  I like everything about their works, and I could staring at them without getting bored (or they caught me into them) and exploring my imagination by looking at details for a long time as if I am present and hearing the sounds at the place they drew.
