HOPE AT THE LAST MINUTE
Thorough making products, we realized that getting a right material has been one of the hardest things. Fabrics, hardware, trimmings etc... Especially, searching for the right quality leather had been the hardest for us. We visited many vendors in Manhattan, and still could not find the right one while running out of time before the due date for sample making! So, we bought the closest quality we could find as a back-up and it was about to be used for our samples. But, we weren't quite happy about it...
Last week, someone I happened to meet mentioned another leather vendor's name. Immediately after the meeting, I visited the vendor by thinking it might be another disappointment, but I just wanted to try and see. However, it turned out to be the best leather vendor I had ever seen in Manhattan with exceptional service, well organized system, and a wide range of beautiful quality leather stock. It was like my dream came true...
It was at the last minute. And, I am glad that I met the vendor. To be honest, the price is much higher than other vendors, but you can get quality consistency in return. Our samples are now in work with the right quality leather we wanted. Just cannot wait to see them made.
